    Dr. Gabriel is a double board-certified, fellowship trained interventional pain physician, as well as the Medical Director. He completed his BA in Medical Ethics and Anthropology at the University of Chicago, where he was the recipient of multiple prestigious awards, while also graduating among the top of his class with both General and Special Honors. He attended medical school at the University of Illinois College of Medicine and was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society for his outstanding patient care. He completed his residency in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) at the University of Michigan, where he graduated with multiple honors, and went on to complete his fellowship in Interventional Pain Medicine with the Department of Anesthesiology. As a physiatrist and interventional pain physician, Dr. Gabriel’s goal is to alleviate pain and restore function for patients through non-surgical approaches. He has over 10 years of extensive experience in the diagnosis, management and treatment of cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine disorders, as well as a wide array of musculoskeletal and neurological injuries. He has been named a top-rated pain specialist among peers and patients, has presented numerous times at national meetings, and is published in peer-reviewed pain medicine journals. Dr. Gabriel’s clinical interests are broad, and include intervertebral disc disease, facet neurotomy, failed back surgery syndrome, spinal cord stimulation and regenerative medicine. In his personal time, Dr. Gabriel enjoys spending time with his family, serving in his church, traveling, running, playing music, painting, hiking and snowboarding.

He completed his BS in Bioengineering at The University of Toledo College of Engineering, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. He attended medical school at The University of Toledo College of Medicine and was awarded Excellence in Rehabilitation Medicine by the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R). He completed his residency in PM&R at The Ohio State University Medical Center and went on to complete his fellowship in Interventional Pain Medicine with the Department of Anesthesiology. As a physiatrist and interventional pain physician, Dr. Gray’s goal is to improve function and quality of life for his patients. He has years of experience in the diagnosis, management and treatment of cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine disorders, as well as a wide array of musculoskeletal and neurological injuries. Dr. Gray has presented at national conferences and is published in peer-reviewed medical journals. Dr. Gray has broad clinical interests including spinal cord stimulation, neuromodulation for chronic pain of the spine and extremities, neuropathic pain, and regenerative medicine. In his free-time he enjoys spending time with his family, running, hiking, skiing, traveling, comedy and music.

She grew up in Cleveland, Ohio and moved to Colorado while in high school. She attended the University of Colorado School of Nursing and married her high school sweetheart, Steve Patton. After attending graduate school with her husband in Oklahoma, Dr. Patton pursued her dream of medicine. She completed a M.S. in Physiology at Oklahoma State and then attended the University of Oklahoma School of Medicine. Dr. Patton did a one year internship in Pediatrics at the University of Kansas, Wichita. She then took a few years off from the full-time practice of medicine to raise her children (Michael, Marie, Keith, Michelle) while they were little. She then resumed her medical career and completed a residency in family medicine at the University of Colorado (Rose Medical Center). Dr. Patton has worked for several clinics in the Denver Metro area and is employed by Miramont Family Medicine in Parker. She enjoys preventative health, women’s medicine, sports medicine and pediatrics. Dr. Patton volunteers by serving on the admissions board for CU School of Medicine, by serving as a board member for the Colorado Academy of Family Medicine (CAFP), and is on the Nurse Physician Advisory Task Force for Colorado. Her hobbies include: her dogs, running, swimming and bicycling.

He then Graduated from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. He completed a 2 year radiology residency before then graduating from a family medicine program at University of Illinois Chicago – Advocate Illinois Masonic. He graduated with certificates for tracks in sports medicine and urgent care. After his residency, he moved to Denver and works full time in urgent care in South Denver. In his free time, he enjoys being active with hockey, soccer, volleyball, hiking, snow boarding and entertaining his energetic golden retriever.

Kim is also a certified aesthetic PA injector. She specializes in neuromodulators, hyaluronic acid fillers and regenerative medicine. A former personal trainer at The Coca-Cola Company, Kim has a keen eye for musculoskeletal disease, conditioning and rehabilitation. She spent 6 years working as a Registered Nurse at Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver, where she spent most of her time on the medical floor. She then returned to Regis University to complete her M.S. in nursing and became a certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Skiing since she was 2 years old and a former ski racer in high school, Katie enjoys alpine skiing with her loved ones in the Rockies. In addition to her nursing degree, Katie has also earned a Dive Master’s certification and hopes to earn a Dive Instructor license in the future to continue sharing her passion for diving and marine life with others.     Melanie Zimmermann, MSN, APRN, FNP-C received a Bachelor of Science in Human Development from Colorado State University. After working as a Social Case Worker for several years, she began her nursing education attending Front Range Community College and soon after received her BSN at the University of Texas. While working as a Registered Nurse, Melanie gained experience working in outpatient surgery centers in perioperative areas, in the emergency department, infusion nursing, and medical aesthetics. Upon completing graduate school in 2017; receiving her Masters in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner, Melanie continued broadening her interest in helping patients optimize their health by using preventative modalities to treat many ailments, specifically focusing on physical medicine and musculoskeletal pain and disease processes. Melanie firmly believes that by truly listening to patients and treating them where they are in their own individual health journey and making realistic goals with lifestyle modifications and supportive measures leads to more positive outcomes. From there, she worked over 5 years as a registered nurse at University of Colorado Hospital Anschutz in their outpatient thoracic oncology clinic. She completed her M.S. in Nursing and became a board-certified family nurse practitioner. In her free time, Brittany enjoys attending workout classes, country concerts, golfing, and spending time with friends and family. She lives in Denver with her 3 dogs.

    Rachael Shelly is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She attended The University of Central Florida in Orlando Florida near her hometown of West Palm Beach, FL where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Shortly after graduation, she moved to Colorado to pursue a career in nursing working with both adults and pediatrics. Rachael worked as a bedside nurse for 12 years spending time in an adult-trauma step down, adult GI PACU, pediatric intensive care and pediatric PACU units before pursuing advancements in her education. She attended The University of Colorado, Anschutz Medical Campus in Denver where she obtained her Master of Science in Nursing. Rachael is excited to work in pain management with her diverse background; she seeks an evidence-based approach to each of her patients and hopes to create mutually set goals that help patients get back to their highest level of function. When she is not working, Rachael enjoys spending time with her husband, son, and 2 goldendoodles traveling, swimming, hiking, and baking.
